OUR MISSION

To establish the most secure, transparent, efficient, and resilient supply chains by applying industry 4.0 advances.

C-STAR brings together industry, technology, policy, standards and a consortium that includes academic research institutions, national laboratories, regulatory and oversight bodies, advanced manufacturers, software service providers, and network operators in the Northeast, the Northwest, and the Texas – Oklahoma region. C-STAR will leverage each region’s competitive advantages as design and manufacturing centers to support regional industry collaboration and economic development.

WHO WE ARE

C-STAR is a nonprofit, public-private partnership responsible for supporting regional economic development and addressing National Security, environmental sustainability, and consumer protection.

WHAT IS A STANDARDS CONSORTIUM?

The common goal is to develop an agreed upon method for ensuring industry standards are being met. Industry Standards are established, documented and active within an industry.  Examples are “Not made with Child Labor” or “Made in the USA”.  When these standards are met, it increases resiliency, transparency, accountability, and reliability in the supply chains of national security, environmental sustainability, and consumer protection.
